Wang, Xiaohui

Growing up in the countryside during my childhood cultivated a profound affection and love for nature within me. This love has influenced and permeated both my life and my artistic endeavors, making me more sensitive to the experiences of life as I grew older. Three years of study and immersion in landscape design school have led me to pay closer attention to the relationship between humans and nature in my creations, as well as the harmonious integration of modern human life with the natural world. In recent years, my practice in the field of education has provided me with more observations, experiences, and reflections on human growth.

These rich life experiences have gradually shaped me into a thoughtful and keenly observant artist. I am deeply fascinated by classical art, especially works from the Renaissance period. The realism style, humanistic ideas, and the inspiration and development of classical art have deeply attracted and influenced me. Artworks are the soulful expressions and silent dialogues of artists, and only by incorporating profound thinking can they become more mysterious and rich, captivating the audience.

Adhering to this philosophy, my works strive to embody meticulous observations of nature and humans. I excel at expressing the tranquility and mystery of natural landscapes. The same applies to the interpretation of characters; while portraying details, I advocate for the pursuit of inner truth and freedom, endeavoring to infuse my own feelings and reflections on life into my works as much as possible, while also striving to find and embody the integration points between modern and classical art. The themes of my works often revolve around the relationship between humans and nature, not only showcasing the pursuit of the beauty of nature but also delving deeper into the roles and future of humanity in the natural environment, hoping to stimulate viewers’ thoughts and resonance.
