Chen, PingPing

PingPing embarked on an artistic journey a short few years ago, tapping into her childhood fascination with colors and shapes. She refined her skills in oil painting at Ye Art Studio in Virginia.

PingPing draws inspiration from urban landscapes and travels to various cultures and scenarios. In her work, PingPing strives to capture the light and its fleeting moments. She invites viewers to explore the rich emotions embedded in each piece, employing masterful use of texture and vibrant hues.

Growing up in a big city, PingPing developed a deep appreciation for the natural world and its intricate patterns. Some of her work often begins with a foundation of natural textures and elements, such as clouds, trees, grasses, and water. As she layers these elements, she introduces fragments of animals.

PingPing hopes that her art serves as a tribute to the ever-wondrous world, a reminder of its boundless inspiration and awe, and fosters a greater awareness of the beauty that arises when the natural and animals converge.
